Rod Wright–Manager
Rod is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska and worked for several of fitness centers in Nebraska before coming to the Valley. He has always been a fitness enthusiast (or fitness geek if you ask his wife), completing a number of triathlons, duathlons, and his own 1/2 Iron man. Rod competed in several power lifting meets and took a gold medal at the Colorado State Games of America in 2003. He is passionately interested in CrossFit training which is a well-rounded version of training without a large time commitment–the best type!
Rod and his wife heard about the area through a realtor when they were looking for a “mountain home” in Colorado. They bought a cabin in Rosita Hills 8 years ago and made it their vacation spot for every holiday they could get away. In December 2010, Rod accepted the manager position at Club America WMV, and they moved here permanently. He loves to hike, bike, swim, weight train — you name it, as long as he has the time to fit it into a busy schedule! Beyond fitness, He enjoys spending time outside working in the yard or taking the dog for a walk. As Rod says, “I am now living the dream.”
